This is Scout, our 5-month old Australian Shepherd.

Beau, our spirited Jack Russell Terrier/Poodle mix, has more energy than a double espresso! Every day he races after Scout, our charming Australian Shepherd. The sight of Beau zooming around, tail wagging and tongue flopping out of his mouth while running, is enough to make anyone giggle. You can just see the joy in his eyes as he chases after Scout, who, with her graceful leaps, looks like she’s gliding through the air!

In another photo, I have caught them both in a quieter moment. Beau was curiously inspecting the ground while Scout stood proudly by, her fluffy fur catching the light. It’s moment like these that reveal their personalities – Beau, the curious explorer, and Scout, the watchful guardian.

Their favorite pastime: retrieving deer bones from the woods and bringing them back to the house.

Beau is strutting around with a bone that is almost as big as he is! There is just something hilariously confident about him, prancing around with his prized possession, while Scout watches, probably plotting her next move to steal it from him.

Everyday, these two are an adventure filled with laughter, mischief, and a whole lot of love.
