Oh, what a night it was! I took the girls to Nacogdoches’ Annual Carnival at the Civic Center a few weeks ago. I thought I had written a post about it, but I think I overlooked it. So – here is the exciting experience that I can’t wait to share with everyone!

From the moment we arrived the vibrant lights and sounds filled the air with excitement. Just look at these photos of the thrilling rides! The colors swirled around us felt like a scene straight out of a dream. I took photos while the girls and Philip rode on rides. Just watching them on the rides that went upside down and stayed there for a second was absolutely electrifying!

As we strolled through the carnival, the atmosphere was buzzing with laughter and joy. The food stalls were lined up, tempting us with the sweet smells of cotton candy and turkey legs. We couldn’t resist the urge to grab a giant funnel cake. Can you believe the fun fair games!?

The sunset painted the sky in beautiful hues of orange and pink, perfectly framing the rides. I couldn’t resist and had to capture each angle of every moment. Those who rode the giant Ferris wheel while the sun was dipping below the horizon saw pure magic. As if they were on top of the world, with the carnival lights twinkling below.

Let’s not forget the thrilling spins and flips on the rides! The adrenaline coursing through veins as one soars through the air, screams of joy with friends and family. It was a night filled with laughter, friendships, and unforgettable memories.

If you are ever in the area when Nacogdoches is hosting their Annual Pineywoods Rodeo and Carnival, make a stop and attend it! Dive into the fun, embrace the chaos, and don’t forget to enjoy every single moment. Life is a carnival!
