Dear Shelby,

Time flies when you’re having fun! It feels just like yesterday when you were being born and we were meeting face-to-face and now you are 11! Let’s take a moment to appreciate the incredible journey you’ve had so far.

Let’s talk about your amazing group of friends – your friends have been at your side, laughing at your funny antics and creating endless memories together. From playground adventures to secret sleepover parties, they have been there to make every moment special.

You’re officially (1) year closer to being a teenager, which means you’re (1) step closer to mastering the art of eye-rolling and sighing dramatically at your parent’s jokes and excitement that comes with being 11. Go out there and continue to have an amazing day filled with cake, laughter, and maybe even a few embarrassing moments that you can use against your parents and/or sisters. Here’s to another year of laughter, friendship, and plenty of monkey business!
