Some of the traits of a person referred to as a “Beach Bum” are: chill, laid-back, carefree, and calm. That sounds like a wonderful way to be and a lot like how God wants us to be! While we aren’t able to stay in that mode all of the time, we CAN and SHOULD reset out spirit to a place of quietness, stillness, and rest by spending time with Him. He’s everywhere and always present, but we are often too busy to be still, enjoy it, and be refreshed by it.

It is said that the sun’s setting is a beautiful sight to behold (like the image above). As the sun slowly starts to set and BOOM!! Its rays burst out of the clouds, one cannot help but to be in awe of its beauty and grandeur. This can be a spiritual moment for some, providing one with an opportunity to appreciate God’s majesty. Experiences likes these can bring people closer to God and make them more aware of His presence in their lives.

It’s the little things in life.
