Usually for Super Bowl Sundays it is just another day for us, however this year we decided to change things up a bit. 2023s Super Bowl Sunday was a day of laughs, arguments, memories, and snacks to last a lifetime! As families and friends were gathered around the country, having cook-outs and what not, our family had a fish fry and even enough alcohol consumed that there was an incident or two, that we won’t speak of again …

The kids all took turns driving the side-by-side almost throwing each other off or totally destroying our front yard with how wet it has been and how muddy it currently is. I took some photos here and there, but it was hard to do while I was prepping most of the food with no to little help here and there. I took the kids (the girls, cousin, and a boyfriend) on the side-by-side about a mile down the county road until we saw the deer. A wildlife refuge, but still deer – even an albino deer. We stopped and took photos of the deer. They all decided to run back while I drove so-so-slowly behind them, stopping here and there making sure they didn’t need a ride back.

Game over, season over. The Chiefs have won their 3rd Super Bowl in franchise history and second of the Patrick Mahomes era. An anticlimactic ending to a tremendous game.
