On a chilly Thursday night in Cross Roads, the Cross Roads’ Junior High boys squared off in an exciting basketball matchup with Martin’s Mill Junior High. Fans of both teams showed up in droves to cheer on the respective teams. In the end, Martin’s Mill pulled away with a victory. This game shed light into the wonderful culture surrounding basketball games at junior highs, in which fans enthusiastically support their respective teams even though these competitors are only 14 and 15 years old. The competitiveness of this particular game was further evidence that basketball is alive and well even in junior high schools.
