Last night, Cross Roads’ A team squared up against Martin’s Mill in what would prove to be a heartbreaking game. Cross Roads lost by 40 points, but their spirit and determination cannot be denied. They battled tooth and nail against one of the toughest teams in the district, a team that has won numerous games over recent years. It was a thrilling game to behold and shows that Cross Roads will only get tougher here on out. The photos above are all from the A team game.

Cross Road’s B team also squared up against Martin’s Mill last night. Although both teams tried their best, it was Cross Roads who ultimately came out on top. Cross Roads played with poise and determination as they fought until the very end of the game. They worked together closely, strategizing as a unit to defeat Martin’s Mill.
